Gesner’s work always has a point of view, and it’s immediately clear here. The rooflines aren’t subtle. They rise, angle, and stretch in a way that gives the house its identity on their own. The walls of glass dissolve the boundary between inside and out until the city becomes part of every room. What we love most, though, is how each space holds its own relationship to the view. From expansive and cinematic to slightly pulled back, each room gives you something astounding. The kitchen sits right in the middle of it all – open, connected, and with a glass roof – its part of the architecture itself.
