Will Rogers Park provides trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. It’s also a popular picnic spot and offers movie nights and special events. Will Rogers Beach is a less crowded and low-key beach great for swimming, surfing, sailing, sunbathing, fishing, picnics, and beach volleyball.

The northern end of Pacific Palisades sits at the base of the Santa Monica Mountains, and there you will find the Temescal Gateway Park and Temescal Canyon. These areas are popular for their lush canyons, picturesque views, and miles of hiking trails. It is also an excellent place for a picnic, bird watching, or just relaxing in the beauty of nature.

Also near the mountains is the Getty Museum, which features art displays and enchanting gardens. Pacific Palisades' most anticipated annual event is the 4th of July Parade. This event includes a huge parade, contests, races, a concert, and a phenomenal fireworks display.
